Spring is on its way!

After the deep freeze of February, there are some glimmers of hope this early March of spring’s arrivial. A few warm days to wake up some of the early bulbs and we should be well on our way. In reflecting back on last seasons spring, we have many reasons to be more hopeful this year. One of the first arrivals in the garden that is not a bulb are our Helleborus. While we are not open for our regular plants yet, we do have some potted Helleborus for sale, along with some lovely primrose. The Hellebores bloom slightly early for us in the greenhouse, and we’ve yet to find a way to hold them back, so if you are looking for a real specific color, this is the best time to pick one out. By May, the blooms have faded from their origional shades. Please give us a call (585) 226-3073 to set up a time to come out, as we dont have regular hours just yet. Happy Spring!
