Iris reticulata are bulb iris that bloom early in the spring. Often used in rock gardens, these Iris prefer a well-drained dry area. They are planted in bulb form, along with other bulbs in the fall. Their bloom period is after the snowdrops, but usually along with Crocus. An excellent spring color splash to think about when planting your fall bulbs.
